NV Race privacy policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

NV Race is a demonstration Android app that compares two ways of confirming a phone number: an SMS one-time code (Firebase Authentication) and carrier-based number verification (Firebase Phone Number Verification). It is operated by Adri Loloçi for personal testing and demonstration.

What data is processed

• Your phone number. You type it for the SMS flow, or your mobile carrier provides it for the number verification flow after you tap Share on the Android consent screen.
• Verification data handled by Google Firebase. This includes the SMS code, a signed verification token and device integrity signals used to prevent abuse.

How it is used

The number is used only to show that verification succeeded and to time each flow. The app does not sell, share or use your number for marketing. Timings stay on your device and are lost when the app closes.

Third parties

Verification is carried out by Google Firebase and your mobile network operator. Their handling of data is described in the Firebase privacy and security page and in your operator's own privacy policy. Firebase Authentication may keep a sign-in record for the phone number in this project. These records are deleted periodically.

Your choices

You can tap Cancel on the consent screen to share nothing. To have any record removed, email the contact below.
